    Well done. It doesn’t mean that it’s all over though does it – I dare say there’s a shed load of decorating/tiling still to do and you’ll be shifting the brick dust for weeks. It’s a huge step in the right direction though.

    Caroline M – you’re exactly right. The structure is done and the boys have gone home. But the house is a hollow shell needing tiling, painting, assembling, and all kinds of exhausting things that mean I will be short of free evenings and weekends for life.
